As a self-taught artist, I developed my painting skills first with watercolour and then with oils. My style is contemporary impressionism for both the larger studio pieces and the smaller plein air works that will always be a favourite part of my life adventure as an artist. My tips and techniques have been featured in on-line art publications (ArtWise) and my work has been recognized in juried shows and competitions (The Artist Magazine). I am an active member of the Ontario Plein Air Society, and the Barrie Art Club.

My paintings can be found in private collections in Ireland, France, Sierra Leone, The Netherlands, Greece, The United States, and across Canada.

In addition to my own studio projects and commissions, I offer workshops and classes in both basic and intermediate levels.
