Mr Wilson’s Class was back again for our fifth week of SPARK. And our official unveiling of the new name and logo. The kids all drew their ideas in class and then Rhubarb Media took their ideas and developed the logo. We spent more time on the critical thinking journey and started with some “Would you rather…” questions.
Here are a few samples:
Would you rather…
… be able to fly or read minds?
… always lose or never play?
… be forced to tell your best friend a lie or tell your parents the truth?
… be stranded on an island alone or with someone you hate?
… become uglier or become stupider?
… find true love or 10 million dollars?
… never use the internet again or never watch TV again?
We then did a version of the Shark Tank called the SparkTank. The kids presented an idea to the panel (teachers) and others in the group can tag them out if they get stuck on the answers.
This week we’ll carry on with some more thinking exercises and journalling their thoughts.
