“What we’ve seen in the environment today that there’s more money going into seed and early stage companies since 2000 at that level,” said Laura Sachar, a general partner with New York-based venture capital firm StarVest Partners L.P. “There’s a lot more interest in the early stage, and a lot of interest in social, mobile, ad-tech—so there are a lot of new companies being created in these areas.  Supporters of coworking say the entrepreneurial communities could help prevent another tech sector meltdown like the one of the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
